Wrong Move pt.10| Law X Reader X Kidd

              “Killer, throw me.”

              Killer nods and in the next second you are flying towards the mystery ships. Your right foot hits the deck of the first ship and you try to stop, but momentum carries your forward and forces you into a tuck and roll. Finally you bounce off the main mast of the ship and stop. You stand up and shake your head, then realize something and perk up.

              “I almost did a super hero landing!” you gush, “Did you guys see that?”

              Both crews are looking at you with complete confusion and when none of them respond.

              “Well you all suck,” you pout.

              “Who the fuck are you?” one of the men demands.

              You should not have come here, your head snaps to the side.

              “Oh shut up!” You snarl, “I know what I’m doing!”

              If that were true then you would not be hearing us right now.

              “Would you just give it a break?!” you pout, “I’m not in any real danger!”

              You are foolish and a child.

              “Bullshit! I’m a grown-ass fucking woman and I don’t need you nonexistent assholes trying to tell me what to do!”

              “What the fuck is wrong with this bitch?” one of the crew members asks aloud.

              “I don’t have a fucking clue,” another one says, “but she’s definitely not going to tell us how the hell we got here.”

              “EXCUSE ME!” you shout, “I am in the middle of a conversation and you are being very rude!”

              A member of the crew who might as well have been the size of an elephant steps forward and raises a battle axe. Before he gets the chance to swing, however, you burst forward and lash out with a short blade. It tears easily through the muscle, flesh and bone of the large man’s leg and sends him tumbling. This surprises you, as it did the man who is now down a leg. His body lurches forward and despite his now flailing arms there is no way he can stop himself from falling. Sick laughter slithers from your lips as you use your momentum to spin around. Drawing your other blade the twisted face of the falling man is rendered from his neck. Just before the severed head hits the ground you get an idea, and before you can think about it your foot is already moving.

              The tip of your boot collides perfectly with the back of the head and sends it across to the other ship. The pirates on that ship jump out of the way quickly, however a crew member is knocked to the ground when the head hits them in the back.

              You throw your arms up with a giant smile on your face,

              “GOAL!”

              While you’re doing a little victory dance half of the pirates between both of the ships pick their jaws up from the deck. The sound of weapons being unsheathed and cocked interrupts your dance of victory, and a smirk that would make Satan run away with his tail between his legs replaces the smile,

              “All right ya little shits whose next?”

              “Should we go over and help her out?” Killer asks.

              Kidd shakes his head and laughs when mayhem finally erupts on the two ships,

              “Nah, she can handle herself just fine.”

              Three men screech like little girls as their ribs are shattered with a round-house kick that sends them flying off of the ship. You are having so much fucking fun right now, even with all the moving you’re doing you feel like you’re about to explode. Your momentum never seems to stop as you fly back and forth between the two ships. Pirate after pirate falling to your blades, but you still haven’t managed a super hero landing.

              “Come on!” you whine as you swiftly disembowel the pirate closest to you before jumping back to the other ship, “I don’t have a lot of time left.”

              When you land like a normal person on the other ship you realizes you’re surrounded. Before you can wind up an attack you hear a whoosh of air, and manage to jump into the air as all of the men around you are sliced in two. You finally land on one knee, one fist on the ground, and the other raised behind you. The realization hits you and you jump up, almost letting go of your blades,

              “I DID A SUPER HERO LANDING!”

              “Wait a minute… did she just say she did a… super hero landing?” Killer asks, “… what the hell is that?”

              Kidd laughs and has to lean against the railing to keep himself upright,

              “I don’t have a fucking clue, but I told you she can handle herself.”

              “I did it. I did it. I did it!” you gush as you hop around, “I finally did a super hero landing~! Woohoo! I did it. I did it. I did it- oh hey Law how’s it goin’?”
              “I forgot you could get this hyper,” Law replies.

              “Well Mr. Killjoy that is simply because you never let me have any fun,” you point out.

               “Oh come on (name)-ya you have to give me a little credit,” he pouts, “It’s not like we didn’t have any fun at all.”

              All of the pirates were now on the ship you and Law were standing on, and decided to rudely interrupt you conversation. Four men rush you, and you throw yourself up and backwards just in time for Law to slice them all in half. As soon as you hit the deck on the other side of Law you disembowel the five men that had gathered behind him.

              “Fair enough,” you shout, “But you didn’t let me kill a lot of people.”

              “I didn’t think it was smart,” he shouts, “I wanted to keep you safe.”

              Simultaneously you and Law cut down the last of the pirates. The two ships that appeared out of nowhere with confused crews were now two ships that had appeared out of nowhere with dead crews. You had a few small scraps and you would have some bruises later on, but otherwise you were completely fine. Law sheathes his nodachi as you do the same with your blades. However you realize that you never used your throwing knives, and swiftly lodge one in the leg of one of the dead pirates when it twitches.

              “There,” you say happily, “All done.”

              Law watches as you slide your throwing knife back in your thigh holster and finds himself smiling. You look up at him, the smile on your face grows wider,

              “Thank you for this Law. It was good to fight with you again.”

              Scratching the back of his head and even blushing slightly Law looks down at his feet,

              “I couldn’t think of any other way to see you… without too many other people around.”

              “Well I’m glad this was the choice you went with,” you giggle, “I’ve been itching for a good fight.”

              “I really am sorry (name), I don’t know what I was thinking…” Law frowns.

              He flinches slightly when your finger is suddenly underneath his chin and lifts it slightly so his eyes meet yours.

              “Don’t be sorry Law. Yeah things didn’t really work out like we thought but… I wouldn’t be the person I am today if you hadn’t taken pity on me,” you murmur, “Just because we aren’t together doesn’t mean you’re allowed to discount everything you’ve done for me.”

              “Of course…” he whispers.

              You briefly kiss Law’s cheek and give him a hug.

              “Speaking of which,” he says after clearing his throat, “Shouldn’t you be getting back to your captain?”

              The thought of Kidd reenters your mind and you literally couldn’t be smiling any wider.

              “You know I was thrown over here from the ship,” you say, “… think you can help me get back?”

              Law nods, and smiles.
